Stage 1 and stage 2 were only available as Race pieces through buick, they were very big into indy cars at the time, and that is were all the stage stuff came from. The stage engines were also the choice for the busch grand national series cars--- kinda like the minor leagues of nascar back then also I dont remember the exact year they stopped using the Buick stuff in nascar, seems like 1996 or so but I am sure someone here will chime in with the eaxact year. They were never offered in our cars even as an option and since they have not been made for a long time they are kind of rare and very $$$$$ to put together. 10k to 20k to build a stage motor even more if your pockets are deep enough.
