I've been busy building some stuff for another buick owner for the last couple months. I should be wrapping it up this week and getting back to mine.
I've been thinking about manufacturing and selling some simple good fitting stage 2 headers with a log style passenger side header. I learned a few things building this set. No matter what you do, plug access on stage 2 heads is going to be tough. It is hard to build a 2.5" crossover that clears the pan, starter and flywheel. A log manifold is more work to build than a collector style header. With a little more work to the downpipe, this could all easily clear an A/C box.
I'm now one step closer to making a production run of these. But, nothing is going to happen until after my car runs and paints some stripes on the street.
Headers.
1.75" primaries, 2.5" crossover/ log
downpipe.
3.5"
