what type of spark plugs should i use in my stage 2 car?
I had autolite 103 installed but i think i am going to need a colder plug for racing?

102 would be a good starting point. AR 472 is the equivalent racing plug with cut back extra thick electrode. I never had a problem just using regular 102s. The $3 per plug saving and everyday availability was nice as well. Your results may vary. always start colder and read the plugs to see what you need.

Your are going to need a MUCH colder plug than a 103.

The Autolite AR 3932 or AR 3933 would be an excellent choice.

These are racing plugs, so do not cheap out on using the best plug for your application. Plugs are cheap compared to engine damage.

Better to start with too cold a plug instead of too hot. Only takes a second or so to kill a piston, a lesson from experience.
