stage block question

I have the word "diamond" stamped into the front of my staged motor. Its on the drivers side front of the block. ?? is this normal ? or anyone seen this before ? never noticed it on other blocks I have seen

Diamond machine here in Michigan did hundreds of stage motors for Buick. They are listed in the Buick power source manual.

I don't know if that what they have been fetching lately but its more than I paid for mine. They are getting harder and harder to find.
