Stage II main stud questions...

Im getting ready to buy the main studs for my stage 2 block and i have a couple of questions.

in the arp catalog,under buick v-6, under 4 bolt main, they list 2 diff part numbers:

222-5602 they list that w/o windage tray.

322-5802 they list with splayed caps

First ALL 4 bolt satge blocks are splayed correct?

second: i am going to the internal wet sump pickup , should i go with the windage tray studs?


i am also looking for an oil pan stud kit, i see a lot of 20 bolt kits but none for the stage II pan.

You will want 1 windage tray stud. That is what you will bolt the bracket for the pickup to.
