stall question

i have a percision 76 turbo , a 218/218 cam , front mount , i beleive .86 exhaust housing i have a pts 9/11 converter witha 3400 stall. It feels very slow off the line and i feel like i have lag will a 4000 stall help? i am open 2 any suggestion since i want 2 try 2 get it right the now second time because i have 2 send it to cali

3800 to 4200 would work good and still be streetable.
