Steering shaft

I am looking to change out my factory steering shaft.
anyone know what ujoint is at the steering column connection? it looks like it could be a 1" DD . would like to order ujoints before i take it all apart.

Just do a search for jeep steering shaft. Built exactly like you want and you can get it out of a slavage yard cheap. It's been posted several times on the board.:biggrin:

Cool thanks, i was planning on comming up with a replacement that could be sold using steering ujoints and shaft.

x2 on jeep shaft, took less than 1/2 hr. to put on ('cause I'm 'tarded)

Thanks for saving me the search, Charlie.

I'm going to update my T-type to handle more like my 2+2 (but lowbuck with Junkyard parts) and just picked up a steering shaft off the board.
