I have seen several guys express interest in this in the past and saw this today http://www.twistmachine.com/
Now it will only work with electronically controlled transmissions, but I am sure there are some creative guys out there with electronic transmission adaptations of some sort.

Man,

That is kinda neat!:D
Great idea , as it works in Formula 1.( Although they are air shifted)
Cool piece I thought.

Yeah, I seemed to remember Bruce Plecan talking about such a set up awhile back. Definitely good for the guys who run 4L60E or 4L80E set ups. Infact, this is probably very similar to what GM is offering on the new Grand Prix's.

If I find a 4L80E, and a win the lottery, I'd be running both.

John Spina, has the Moon Eyes electric shift on his new car. It was shown on American Hot Rod in one of their episodes, the shifter, not John's car, that is.
