Sticky: How many stickies does it stick to stick a sticky?

How many stickies do we need at the top of each page?

I know 8 is enough was a hit back in the early eighties when Ralph Macchio the karate kid, but 8 is too much here in 2005 to be stickies atop of such a good board.

Can we condense the "sticky" section at the top of the page?

I dont mean disrespect towards the threads or this board, i just think it stinks when i have to roll down 8 threads to meet the first post.

Have a super 4th of July, dont blow your fingers off please!!!!!!

I agree, one sticky on each page, one sticky forum or no stickys. It is a pain to scroll down to the first post after 5 or 6 stickys. My .02 cents.

You own and work on Turbo Buicks, and you are complaining its too much work to scroll down a page a little bit?

Get a nice mouse with a scrolling wheel. Trust me, you will love it!

If the whole first page was stickys, then yeah, thats too much obviously. But a few threads at the top isnt going to give you carpal tunnel.

On a side note, what about some sort of horizontal scrolling across the top of the forum for the stickies? Kinda like a scrolling annoucements headline. It would take up a lot less space, but I dont know if its a feasible idea within the vbulletin board.

I already have a laser mouse with a scrolling wheel, its nice, i just get irratated with Each page having EVERY sticky at the top no matter what page you are on..... try it go to page 2, 3, 4 ect and the stickys are there,.... what a PITA...

Well i posted yesterday about it, must have gotten too tipsy and forgot to hit send....

I like this board but think 8 stickies on top of every page is worthless.... if you want to read a sticky, click it, dont put it on the second and third pages...
