ok guys i need your help, im lost. i got my turbo back today and got it on a few hours ago took it out for a drive to make sure all was good but nope still got knock. im open to all and any help. i have 3 power logger files attached. the first run was no changes to my chip before the rebuild at the end of the file last pull i held the test button on the alky to see if that would help. second run i figured with the new heads and the good flowing motor i needed more fuel so i added max fuel also at the end of the file i held the test button while i was getting on it. 3rd was a little power break in front of the house but it started to spin the tires since the air pressure is to high the the tires. the car pulls good under no boost and if i rev. it in park i get no knock. the car doesnt break up and it acts fine. no oil in coolant and no coolant in oil good oil pressure good coolant temp. please help or the car isnt going to make the WCN. should i order a new chip. could it be off that much over the old motor. well the second drive wont upload its to big of a file as far as the powerlogger i have WB, IAT, IAT in the intake, EGT, ect. maybe i should lean it out? also could a crank sensor not set right cause this. when i pulled the plugs before the turbo they looked fine but i can pull them again. tomorrow i will pull max fuel and see what happens. also when u change the fuel via the TT chip does that effect part throttle like what im doing or no? if not i guess i might need a neew chip. this is a fresh motor. the other motor was stock this one is fully built stock rods and crank CP pistons 212/212 cam and max ported heads. other then that all is the same.orry keep thinking of things. i just got my turbo back from precision becuase it was blowing oil i wonder if its fixed or am i running into the same problem. im running pump gas 91

What MAF are you using?
It looks like its too lean. We might have to add fuel in the chip. The WOT fuel adjustment in the chip won't do anything at those low boost levels.

eric lets try a chip. if you can get a chip out ASAP that would be great. i will pay you to over night it or next day it to me. also i can send you a list of my mods. i got this still got the box the chip came in and the chip says if this is writin down right TT 5.6 1774 55# 23-21 timing 23-25 psi.

Hey Boost, what injectors are you using? You just added a hell of alot of air flow with the heads and cam. I just did a 218/212 roller, GN1's, FMIC, and a 1" plenum spacer, home ported my intake and the air flow is incredible. I adjusted my alky to come on at about 7 1/2 lbs and added alot of fuel. I am using 72lb injectors. Its a little easier for me to see the AF with the FAST but I would add fuel and ALKY both and bring your boost down to around 18 til you get it figured out. Dont want to blow it up. Good luck with it. HTH
well guys i put the pressure up on the regulator 5 psi (48 Line off) and it still does it. i have attached 3 more logs. it doesnt look like the turbo is spitting oil but its hard to tell. could i be rich? lean? hellllllllllppppp

if you depend on alky to keep knock down is your alky working 100% ? , does it stall the motor if you press test button at idle ?
I was chasing excessive knock for a while to find that the top of my alky pump where the switch is was leaking alky out on the ground

I was chasing excessive knock for a while to find that the top of my alky pump where the switch is was leaking alky out on the ground of course it would not show after the run ,that stuff dries out quick , just an idea ! ok made some progress tonight. turned the fuel pressure way up and nothing still got knock, turned the pressure to 39psi and still got knock put the fuel pressure back to 43 line off took the wastgate rod off and no knock . i will attach the 2 PL runs with the wastegate undone. it still made 4 pounds of boost and it cherped the 1-2 LOL. anyways so im guessing its the chip. any thoughts?\

Since you have not even gone WOT yet, you probably are still very lean with the increased airflow of the new motor without changing the base fueling in the chip for part throttle conditions

well i went and got some C16 and i got no knock kind of. i can lauch from a dead stop bring the boost up to about 8-10 on the foot break lauch and i get no knock at all (18-19PSI) threw the gears. im going to turn the boost up dont worry anyways i get knock when im cruising at 45 or so and stab it. it knocks for a second then it goes away. This is a 3rd gear crusie to a second gear down shift. 2 psi @ 3766 RPm's i get knock all the way to 14.7 psi then it starts to drop. i dont hear knock and the a/f is in the 13.48 range off the get go then it gets richer. i dont get it.im guessing false knock but i cant find it. i put rubber hose between the dp areas but that didnt do anything and thats the only area that comes close to hitting anything. i had this same problem in this area on pump gas. Eric told me to switch out my MAF and go from there. Right in the area where it knock it has some wierd reading and from what i can see the MAF is lazy. i attached 2 logs one of the rolling on then stabing it then the other from a dead stop. im going to switch the MAF out and give it another try.

Some strange looking PL logs for sure.. Are you running an Alky chip ??? The race4 log looked great, the others, things were ALL over the place, almost like an electrical gremlin, and I also noticed that you never seemed to get TPS to WOT except the race gas runs..
