Been chasing a problem of engine breakup, acts like it is running out of ruel at 5,000 rpm. Have 009's and Turbo tweak chip, other mods, runs great till right at 5,000 , have added 20% WOT fuel through the chip and installed a new 340 pump (its hot wired) , the highest reading I get on the scanmaster is 800 for the 02's with all this fuel added, would think if the injectors were fueling correctly it would be way rich, only thing I know to do is replace them, have checked everything else many times, don't know what else to do, had the injectors cleaned prior to reinstall during this new build. Any ideas! thanks

What about your fuel filter? How much boost are you running? Is the fuel pressure going up 1:1 while in boost? Are you getting any knock? Does the car have an alky kit? Did you replace the valve springs?

I would suggest replacing fuel filter , & checking fuel pressure scaling as mentioned above. Also make sure your timing values are where they need to be and that the ignition system is up to par .( low voltage , cross arcing , of even bad wires / coils ) could be allowing the spark to be blown out . what heat range you running / plug type ...

Everything on the build is new, module, coil, wires, all sensors, relays, everything except the injectors. New fuel filter, pump, lines, hoses, cam sensor, crank sensor, champion steels all new, everything, accufab regulator set to 43lbs line off per turbotweak, fuel pressure guage on windshield to check fuel pressure, boost set for 13lbs (for initial WOT tuning), fuel pressure going up 1to1 with boost, was running AC 43's put in new AC 42's gapped to .035, this thing is driving me nuts runs strong to 5,000 then acts like it starts to run out of fuel. No backfire, poping, only thing I know to do is to try injectors, seems like with all the fuel I have to the injectors they are just are not delivering. Thanks for your help.

If your pocketbook can handle it, ditch the 009's. Eric has a package deal for 60's and a chip.

Just ordered the 60's and chip from Eric, hope this solves my trouble, the car runs so hard if I can get this problem cleared up its's going to be a killer on the street, not that this 60 year old man would do anything illegal, like blow some young kid in a mustang, doors off.

Only 13 psi on that size turbo would feel slow to me too. If you didnt have knock and the 02's were in the 800's... I'd go to 15,17,18 psi. But thats just me. Hope you get it going soon. Keep us posted.

Thanks for the encouragement, had the boost at 13lbs for initial WOT tuning so I did not hurt the engine, if the 60's fix the problem I'll "sneak " up on the boost as high as I can saftely go. If I can get 16-17lbs safely It will be a killer on the street, this little car already runs harder than my old big block GS and it ran 12.10's in street tires, hope I can get this problem solved, it's hard for an old man to move to this technology all at once. thanks again for everybodies input.

I'm just glad to see an older guy that will accept and use the new technology! Nothing wrong with playing it safe.
