So I finally got the walboro 340M replaced with a deatschwerks 300lph pump, and heres what happend. Same combo as my sig, TE62 on 15PSI boost pressure. With the old 340M, it was making funny noises and getting pretty loud (sign of a dieing pump) and instead of 11.6-11.7afrs @ WOT with 22PSI it was dipping into the 12s on AFRs. So backed the boost down to 15psi till I replaced the pump. With the NEW pump @ 45PSI fuel pressure, I got a 13.2AFR @15psi boost and heard a pop out the exhaust so I let out of it. 45psi line ON pressure mind you not off. So Im stumped...have no clue what to do to from here. Do I need to just up the pressure on the pump till the AFRs richen up or....? Id like to get the car to a shop and have it REALLY tuned, but whos even close to 46516 these days? Any ideas? -Ben

Sounds like it may not be getting enough injector pulsewidth. Can you increase the fueling in the extender?

Before the Walbro started making noises, was you air fuel ratios were you wanted? Anything else change ie; settings in the chip or translator? New MAF?

did you change the fuel filter?
any kinked lines (rubber and steel ) ?

any leaks in that hose to fp regulator or the hose at the vacuum block for the FP reg will prevent fuel pressure from rising 1:1 when in boost and also will prevent the pressure from dropping when the line is connected
pressure should only be at 42-45 line off ( then reconnect)
if it wont go less than 45 line off or on and you have good vac at that line to fp regulator then your fuel return system is not adequate for a 300lph pump ..

whats the fuel pressure at 15psi? does it rise one psi fp to one psi boost?

When you replaced the fuel pump, did you change the short hose on the hanger?

Will be running the gauge to the inside of the car this weekend to monitor fuel pressure @ 15PSI boost. I changed out everything (little rubber hose, connector, etc) when changing the pump. Also added a hotwire kit at the same time as well, so there should be full power hitting the pump. Fuel filter changed as soon as was brought out from storage - along with plugs oil/filter, K&N cleaning, narrowband 02, etc. Fuel settings in the chip are set full rich as well as full rich in the MAF translator. Will be checking the FP gauge this weekend, and if not that, then I'll fire up the directscan and take a look at my 02 MVS, Xcounts and BLMs and see where they are at in case its just my wideband sensor on the fritz. Thanks guys I'll keep you all posted. :) -Ben

PS: found that my WG actuator was sticking open - resulting in super laggyness that Id been experienceing. Thanks UR50SLO for that one :D

Sounds like the feed line is leaking at the sender possibly. You need to verify pressures at 15psi. Vacuum line off pressure doenst mean much if its not rising 1:1 under power
