I would call it "fine" but not ideal. With a garret exhaust housing, itd probably be better, but with a precision housing, it'll be a little laggy. You may have a loose D5 though and if it stalls to 2400 @ 0-1psi, you'll be good. With a 2700 stall, it spools instantly!
If you have Eric burn a chip for your EXACT combination...and you make a balls out run on the default chip settings...you'll likely note on PL that low gear fueling is pig rich. Pull some fuel outta low gear and add some low gear timing...and watch how fast it spools. Make sure you have a Garret .63 exhaust housing if you go with the 44.
