Stock GM head bolt sealant?

I am pulling the engine in my stock '86 GN and noticed that under the head bolt cap was an orange sealant.

Was that the stuff GM used, I am just curious to know if the heads were ever off.

Yes, factory TTY bolts come with blue sealant on the threads and orange sealant under the heads. When GM mass produces stuff they design out the requirements for additional RTV to speed up assembly times.
