From reading the forums Precision seems to be the first choice, but has anyone used the TR Parts intercooler? Looking to go 10's on Alky and stay on somewhat of a budget! feedback please!!

I have it.VERY nice piece. Im VERY happy with it right now.I had to trim a little around the sway bar but thats it.The sway bar is coming off this summer anyway. As far as performance I put that, vigalante converter,3'DP and alky on at the sametime and knocked over a sec off my et.So Im not really sure how much it helped, but Im sure it did.

I bought one from Mark a couple of years ago. I give it a two thumbs up.

The PTE SLIC is a proven piece - I have on on my street car and it works extremely well. I don't have any first hand knowledge on Mark's but it looks like a good design and to be well made. I can say this much from dealing with Mark - he isn't going to put anything out there that is junk - I'm sure it is a good piece.

You have to dick with the passenger side frame brace with the Precision slic. Nothing a little bending and welding can't cure.;)

Update on the TR-parts intercooler, installed it last week using the stock brackets had the boost shoot up about 3lbs. because of the increased flow. Once I got the boost back under control the car was up 35 horsepower on the dyno even without proper intercooler airflow at the same boost level. In general Great part, Great price! mod the stock pass bracket to fit.
In case your interested 355hp street trim 19lbs. / 401hp On Alky at 24lbs.

I had problems with that bracket also,a modded stocker is a better fit.
