Will the stock timing cover work with a Stage 1 block and stock crank?

Would the Stage 1 and steel center mains be a significantly better choice than a stock block, cast mains and girdle? This would be with stock crank.

Any other caveats with stage 1 and stock accessories, motor mounts, etc, besides 14 bolt pan?

tyvm,
Tom

Would be MUCH better than a stock block.

The timing cover needs to be for a 14-bolt pan. All accessories and mounts will bolt on like stock. If the block has the original 2-bolt mains, oiling system is the same as stock.

Turbo drain can be located in the block or the oil pan.
