Anyone have any suggestions or tips on how to remove paint on the grill of my GN? Person I bought it from years ago had a very cheap paint job (very little taken off or masked off) and they sprayed the grill. Some of the paint is flaking off of it, but it looks horrible. I've tried using a razor blade to remove most of the flaking, but there is still some of the paint on it, what's worse is it's gloss black! I'd like to get all that paint stripped off and scuff it down/prep it correctly for some SEM Trim black. TIA:D

Soda Blast if you want it done correctly. I can't think of anything else that doesn't damage the surface of the plastic.

X2 Unless you have a TON of elbow grease saved up somewhere and you want to try sanding it with 400 grit or finer!!

Try using Brush and Roller cleaner in the paint aisle at Home Depot or Lowes. Try it in a small area first so that you are sure it won't react with the plastic.

A model builders trick- Try regular old DOT 3 brake fluid. Test in an unseen spot first, though.

I use it to strip crusty old paint from vintage model car bodies and it doesn't harm the plastic (polystyrene). Works great!

Remember- test it first.
