OK I'm planning 10s or 11s this year, (new motor, rear, new turbo, etc)

I dont want to cut up my interior , but if I have to at minimum I dont want the following.

1.Having to go over a bar everytime i enter the car
2 I want functional back seats without passengers hitting their heads on the bar.

what are my choices please!

Removable door bars will help in front, but a usable back seat is tough with an actual sanctioning body approved roll bar.

About the only thing that would make the back seat semi usable is have the "cross bar" be a diagonal from the passenger floorboard to the main hoop, with a seat bar behind the driver seat only.

Back seat users would need to step over and in between this diagonal crossbar and the main hoop, but it's the only way to satisfy the welded in crossbar/seat bar requirement.

is there any restrictions on tubing diameter size?
thanks thats really good info

Don't run 11.49 or less. If you haven't made an 11 second pass yet, I would wait until you hit mid 11's before getting serious about a rollbar.
