sub box for the 87

here's a pic of the ported sub box i'm about to install in my car. someone wanted to see a pic. i'm just curious as to what direction the sub facing would sound better.

Mine sounds better,facing the rear of the car..

in my experiance i've had them sound both ways but i've always liked how the signal sounded deeper coming off the trunk. so i'll more then likely face it toward the trunk then towards the cabin.

yes i'm going to put it on the shelf and maybe do an amp rack mounted tack it up to the back of the wall facing back seat. got a 1 farad cap, and haven't decided on amp. got a local who has a newer HCCA orion amp. So looking to maybe get it and then install.
