Auto crossing an ’87 GN and experienced sudden stall at least once per run. Seemed to occur when entering or going through a turn. There was no warning of hesitation, missing, chugging etc. Just a clean cut off. Would always start again right away without any problems. Never any problem during normal street driving. There was one trouble code 13 appear momentarily after the fact right after starting the car. This happened on trip back home. I believe this is a code for an open circuit in oxygen sensor. Other information collected via Turbo-link on trip back home when applying heavy throttle and then backing off at about 70 mph:
MAF – 185 gm/sec to 5 gm/sec
TPS – 2.49 v to .33 v
O2 – 805 mv to 0 mv
RPM – 3950 rpm to 2425 rpm
Has anyone else seen this type of problem? Should the oxygen senor voltage go all the way to zero when throttle is dumped?? Thanks.
