i think i might have the inside poster as well. whats the story why are you looking for this? do you have the car?

James i have two 1986 WH1 cars and the Summit car is one of them ,had it for about 6 years now . i think its the only Turbo Buick featured by Summit Racing ? Mark Evans worked there at that time and back then a 10 sec car was Fast ! Oh how times change. Thanks for your help . Shawn

I worked at Summit from 91 through 98 and I remember the Buick guys coming in asking for parts. It amazed me how few parts we carried for these cars, yet they'd put one on the catalog cover, which generated even more inquiries. Always frustrating to tell a customer 'sorry we dont have it'. Limited market for these cars I know, and Summit's focus was almost exclusively Chevrolet.

Mark Evans, Tim Stockwell, and Dave England ran Turbo Buicks back then and worked at Summit. I remember watching them launch at Dragway 42. I thought the slicks were going to rip off of the rims they'd launch so hard. Oh the memories.

Those were the days!! I went to Kent St. at the time, and raced my old gray T at 42 as well...

i THINK I may have a copy of that ill have to look .I saved almost everything including those old BG customs and Eastern catalogs

Just to clarify Mark Evans never worked at Summit Racing. Mark and I shared a house after we both were recently divorced at which time I was working at Summit. I had a buddy in advertising that also owned a stock GN so I had the inside track. We got to do some fun things while I worked there, we also used Marks car a test mule for Auburn posi units and tested all kind of compounds of Mickey Thompson tires both street and slicks. Yes those were some fun days for sure.

Hey Matt, I got a new bullet going in the car soon so get ready play. We have got to get together soon, are you going to TurboBuick.com event in North Carolina? I just quit my job and am rejoining the rest of society in a couple weeks and might be going to NC so let me know.

Hey Dave. You're correct. He hung around you so often that people thought he worked with us. Those were the days weren't they. I remember when we raced on 224 with my Chevelle. Once you locked the converter you pulled away. Hey, nice looking engine! I've been so busy and my vacation days are pretty much booked for the year already, so I doubt I'll make it. About time you quit your job... too many hours of work and not enough play!

Dave,

You need to call me sometime and let me knwo what you are up to, been a while since we have talked.
