Howdy,

Most of ya'll know I'm working towards putting a Turbo6 in a 65 Riviera... well the main goal I had was to make it on powertour '06 with the car. Well I have almost a complete motor minus some electrical stuff and ofcourse the turbo and tranny and no car. I am wondering if I'm getting over confident in what I want to do and I'll run out of time due to the need to custom fab up an oilpan, pickup, make frame mounts, and possibly modify the headers for fitment beyond what they need for the GT40R and twin Deltagates. Hense the super sleeper idea.
Basically stick the same Turbo6 and TH200-4R that was going to go into the Riv into a 64-67 Buick Skylark/Special 4dr or even better SportWagon (both are A-bodys and using Buick 350 frame mounts it goes right in I believe). I'll take comments and votes in the poll on what ya'll think I should do.

Thanks,

buy a boattail Riv!
Ewww... No
I'm going for less weight not more! Though it would be easier than a 65 Riv due to the redesigned steering with a rear sump pan. Still NO!

You suck and I hate you! :p

blah I want some one to do a 72 boat tail Riv!

I guess now I will have to vote for one of the choices.

either way your project is cool as heck!

Deos'nt Jay Leno have a custom Riviera?. I think I read about it in one of my Hot Rod mags. Anyhow, I voted for the 65 Riv and good luck with whatever you choose.

Jay has a Twin Turbo 425 LS# in a 66 Tornado with C5 suspension.
I really want to do the Riv but reality is I will likely have to choose between doing the Riv and getting it done in time for Powertour '06. Keep the comments coming.

Thanks,
