In Maryland, we can get Historic plates if the car is 25 years old or more. However, it is possible to get Historic tags after only 20 years if the car is a model that only a 1,000 or fewer were produced and/or is no longer being produced. Supporting documentation from the manufacturer is required.
Does GM consider an 1986 GN a "model" that is still produced? As in it's just a Buick Regal?
Do Historic tags get me out of immersions inspection?
Where do I write or call for "supporting documentation" from the mfg.?
