found a good manual door off an 87 regal limited and one on a 86 cutlass at the local junkyard.are the door shells exactly the same as my power ones on my GN (mainly the cutlass one)?

and how hard is it to switch everything over to power.

and last question,do the manual doors have the hole in front for the wiring harness to run into for the power door locks and windows.just wondering before i pull them off the car.

thanks

The doors are the same, except the chrome trim maybe, everthing is the same for nonpowered and powered so it will be an easy swap, the hardest part will be removing the powered window motor, they are factory rivited in so you will have to drill out the rivets and bolt it in the other door.

Make sure your motors are good, or buy new if you can afford to.
you may also want to put in new outside rubber strips at this time, the ones at the top of the door, bottom of the glass when up, they normally crack and leak water inside the door and expediate rusting.

Thanks
Bill
