T top seals

your basically screwed. DONT BUY POSTON! Ive looked around and the best kit Ive found is from soffseal for like $400(I was never able to find official GM long peices). But, the ttop peices are official Gm while the body(long) part isnt. So, mine ended up w/ .5" on each side of short peice and start of long peice. Soff seal sent me some material for free to fix it myself(5 feet of weatherstripping) That fixed that but the quality of the stripping is still questionable. It has left a layer on my ttop glass taht Im going to have to scrub off, it isnt a perfect fit, but much better than poston's, and it makes ALOT more wind noise than it did before replacing it. And I noticed recently that moisture was still making past the weather stripping and making condesnsation on the inside of my passenger ttop. It also has already flattened out around the windows to where it sometimes comes in around the glass guide area. Ive only had the stuff a couple months. As far as doing it right, check gnttype.org, they have a great guide as to how to do it right. I hope you have better luck than I did! Oh, and if you do, please tell me so I can have faith in ttops again and maybe fix mine!

I had that crap when it was called cyberdyne bowling green sold that junk & It costed me an arm & a leg
it never worked right I even bought a lil calibration box 4 it 2 never worked either. That was in my 87 gn it had the analog garbage I tried something new it didnt help though. I have this 87 TTL now it has the factory digital its better than the cyber garbage nord junk but u know how it is.I want another performance instruments gnx wanna b system but $ is going on mods 2 spank my old buddies 2000 fire TERD!THX 4 the advice. Whats so bad about postons stuff everyone talks crap about them whats up with that?I will continue 2 check on t - tops seals & let u know what I find out!
