T70 P Trim upgrade

can this be upgraded to say a Q trim? Anything else that can be done with it??

I know that with the PT70 P-trim vs the PT70 GT-Q, technically it could be done. But it will need new bearings, a new turbine wheel, new turbine housing, new seals and internal pieces, possibly a new bearing housing and depending on the compatibility of the compressor wheel, it might need to be changed as well. By the time you are all done, you might be better off money wise, selling the P-trim turbo and using that money towards purchasing a new GT-Q equipped 70 turbo. This would most certainly be the case with any other companies turbos as well.

Depends on the unit you start with and shaft size. Could be simple, but it also could end up complicated like Patrick said. Will all depend on the unit.
