is anyone here running this turbo? do you have any info on it? what turbo is it comparable to?

Ed Baker runs one out of NYC.

He thinks it's closer to a '62.

I dunno myself. :D

I believe he likes a 3400 stall with it. :)

I have one. I've also heard 61/62 is similar. 5 passes netted me the time in my sig with not alot of tuning. 25psi, slicks @ 14 lbs, FP @ 38 line off, EGT 1550-1600, 1.77 60' . That's with an unlocked converter, stock ported elbow and through the muffler. Not too shabby I'd say (for now). It does pull hard on top too.

The "54" IS a "61". Confusing ain't it?

Both use the 60-1 compressor wheel and the T04B 69 trim turbine wheel. I'm not sure why there are two different nomenclatures for this one turbo. Probably have to ask a vendor.

thanks fella's, now all i gotta do now is get a converter for it. what stall do i need so i can start looking/saving for it?

keith egan came in 2nd place in the tsm series w/ that turbo. he is in the 10's

I'm running a 3500nl converter. At around 24 psi on pump gas and alky I've ran 12.0 at 115 with a 2.0 60' on nittos, running out of gear at the end of the 1/4
