TA headers need porting??

I havent got the motor back yet but just got to thinking about my TA headers and the ported GN1's. Just curious if the TA headers are going to need to be ported to match the heads? -------Jeremy

I welded mine around the tubes and did a gasket match porting.

Welding the on the headers is not recommended as it can easily warp the flanges.

We have TA headers "out-of the-box" that run mid- 9's and better.

Hey Nick, how closely do these match the porting on GN1's? Would porting get me anywhere or is there no need?
