ta33 power level

How much horsepower is the ta33 capable of supporting? I've heard it's about 450 but that seems low compared to the ta49, which is supposedly capable of 545, and the ta49 flows about 100cfm more. Is the ta49 just that much more efficient?

You got it. The 33 is just a stock turbo with a bigger wheel.

I believe those flow ratings on the turbos are rated using 30 psi of boost, if you re onlly gonna run like 24 psi boost, you can figure 80% of the rated horsepower- a ta-49 @24 psi= apx. 440 horsepower. HTH

I've never heard of a TA34 only a TE34..?
Somebody posted several weeks ago that they went LOW 11's with one.....?

I am interested in this TA34, details? Which wheel is bigger, turbine or compressor, what about the housings?
