TA-49, 60lb inj, ported irons, stock location stretch I.C. 11.49@117 Will probably go a little faster. First run and got thrown off the track for no roll bar. :D

What boost level to get that? Nice job. Post up your combo. I'm hoping to click off a 12 next summer and want to see how I'm stacking up to ya...

Why not a GT6131,52, ect? TA49 is "old technology".
They do still work great though. Cudo's mikestertwo!

great et on the ta49. It's amazing how fast a ta49 or te44 will take you on some ported heads.thanks

I just installed a GT6131 dbb on the car. This thing spools like crazy :D Haven't had it to the track yet. Next year after the rains stop (and before my son comes up and takes the car back home :frown: ). I will have to take it to another track (Woodburn). Combo was: TA-49, EDGE 10" L/U 3000 stall converter, 212/212 roller cam, ported iron heads, BG stretch stock location I.C., Motron 60#inj., THDP, 3.42 posi rear, 255/60 MT street ET's, TT chip, 20lbs. boost, transmission 200r4 built by me with billet parts from Bruce (PTS). :)

I have the standard bearing 6131 and IT spools like nuts. I can't imagine a dbb. I will when the dbb6776 gets in.

i have a stock block and heads with a duttneck and 42 pounders and ran 11.62 at 114 with alky and 93 with a heavy steel wheels and no diet on the car through the mufflers

best Ive managed is 11.452 116.9 totaly stock heads ,stock duttneck I/C, 50#injectors , alky and drag radials, motor was actually 134K totally stock 1987 assembled ,

my buddy Hooper recently put up an 11.25 117 on ta49 , ported irons big valves , stock duttneck I/C, 50#injectors , alky and drag radials

I just went 12.041@110 on the stock turbo last Saturday at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, MD. Planning on upgrading to either a TA-49, TE-44; or something bigger in the near future. That 12.041 was backed up with a 12.050@109 with a hurt trans. Ported stock turbo, IC, & plenum w/PP, 009s w/TT alchy chip; with a THDP through the Hooker exhaust. Boost was ~28psi or so...

Time for a turbo and convertor...
