I am looking for a connection point under the hood to hook up a temporary tachometer just while under the hood. I thought there was a wire to do that but can't remember for sure. Any help on this would be great.

Correct me if I'm correct, but it's the green connector that's located behind the alternator, that should be your tach signal wire. Be aware, some tachs have to have a resister or something put into the line, but I'll let the experts here on the forum tell you that. Don't hook into the black connector near the green connector. The black one is the fuel pump power wire.
Oh, and have a nice Thanksgiving. Best to you and your family.
