nice pass for sure im curious on the details of this car and run...

John

Yes i was beside him when he made this pass..i had drag radials on and i hooked good of of the hole but when the boost came up i broke traction so i lifted. i said to myself that's ok i will run John down..boy was i wrong..he just kept getting smaller and smaller:)..he has a very quick car for sure..i believe you are going to need a 140 trap or better to compete in TAI...Bob

Funny, even Julio couldn't believe he ran the number when I told him!:D

No kidding.. I heard the announcer say TAI class qualifying.. I look at two cars going down the track and the score board lites up 9.8 139.6.. I said looks like they mixed TSM and TAI :D

Not until I got with Bob and they had weighed the cars.. it hit me.. ohhh wow.. talk bout stepping it up and moving the bar.

Wonder who'll be the first to crack 140 ;)

I seen John Snyder go 9.92@ 142 a couple of weeks earlier at Cecil County Dragway....That guy is on his game

i'll get it tore down next weekend and see what i messed up and go from there. if it's just head gaskets i might leave it in and beat it some more..if it's a piston well i have a nice set of LS turbo headers:) i will be having a v-6 parts sell........Bob

Hey Bob, did you get that pump? I got the in tank harness seem's to be working, thanks for that link!

long drive...

We finally made it home with my three grumpy old men with small bladders.....long drive but we had a great time!

Bob, thanks for the grudge matches..and another driving lesson  your car is fast AND consistent....I saw you make more runs on Friday than I have made all year!!!.. the boiled peanuts were good as well...

Julio thanks for trying to pull it off again....can we try again in BG? What would be required to make this more of an official class like TSO or TSM? a sponsor? has this already been asked?? I am new to the Buick community so I am not sure how these classes were developed over the years.....either way it was nice seeing the guys I met in BG, we had a good time and I look forward to next year...

John,
We had the turnout at BG this year, just not the weather. This is a new class in relative terms, and guys like yourself showing the numbers and potential are what make the class. Especially for others that may not fit in TSM as an alternative.

I have sponsored the class at BG the last few years, along with others like KDK, Full Throttle, Cottons, etc So we have money to put up.. We actually had more cars in this class in BG this year than TSM entries.

Location, timing, breakage, etc played a role with the car count at Reynolds. I think next year can only be greater.

BG is next around the corner.. after the NC meet in March.

See you for sure next year.. hope the economy gets people in the rite mood. Great to hear you made it home ok..
