taxes on car

Just got a Bronco, it is not what I need. I need a pickup. If I don't get plates and I sell it, will I still owe sales tax? Got it from an out of state dealer.

Legally your must title the car into your name. If it is not titled into your name some states consider it jumping title or otherwise called tax evasion(Not wanting to pay sales tax).

You do not have to register the car (get plates) but you should title it into your name.
