Anyone ever datalog any real world negative results by not bypassing the coolant lines that go to the throttle body?

Looking at picking up this: Heater Hoses - Complete Set

Didn't know if it hurts to have them hooked up or not. The car currently has them bypassed.

Well your trying to lower the incoming air to the motor, so if you bypass the TB your not heating it up with the hot coolant. The cooler the charge the better these cars run.

Understood...

I am just wondering if anyone has logged higher intake temps with the lines hooked up.

I really doubt they hurt time slips at all. But, the engine looks cleaner.
Now maybe John Force Racing might find 1/10 somewhere or somehow but I don't think most of us are in his bracket for racing.
Just my Opinion but I would bet $20 on a 10-11 sec car they do nothing.

Back in the 90s when I was big in the F-bodys a guy did a dyno run with his car before and after he removed the lines he also port matched the plenum and cleaned up the TB blade and then did a 2nd dyno run it made no diffrence he did run like 1 MPH faster next time he went to the track but that could have been from any thing.

Mine are bypassed, but I think ioam gonna hook them back up to see if it helps out the cold idle in the winter, since that is what they were used for.
