Hi guys, i droped my trans pan the other day and saw that the tcc had no wires going to it from the inside of the trans , the trans has a non locking valve . Does this mean that the tcc is just there doing nothing or is it still doing something, its not even hooked to any thing in the trans

any help would be great

Along for the ride, if we are taking my car were not getting far.:D

so what up with this tcc , just trying to find out y my rebuilt trans is not shifting.:(

Tcc control and upshift and/or downshifting are two seperate entities. One should not effect the other.

should mine be hooked to any thing in side the trans because its not, i also have a non locking valve to could this be y. just trying to find out y it wont up shift out of first.:(

If you've got a non-lock up valve, you don't have a need to hook up your connector.

If your transmission isn't shifting out of first, you probably have a governor/valve body problem.

Hey guys is there any thing i can check on the trans to see y its not shifting. My dad knows a guy that has a trans shop might get him to check it out.

The trans had only about two miles and came from a mustang with a gn motor i think. Del trans did the trans, but i put a used 10" ac stall on it. I have a lot of metalic in the trans pan and fluid do you think this is from the rebuild or the used stall, maybe the metalic from the stall is stuck in the valve body or something and making it not shft out of first.

what do you guys think.:D
