I have never sen one but the propoganda leads one to believe that the theory behind this is the tv cable doesnt control line pressure(by means of throttle valve sending modulated tv oil thru the line bias valve and then to the boost valve in the pump) as line pressure is fixed and always the same. The cables control is used to regulate the oil that is fed to the plunger from the tv limit valve from 0 psi throttle with throttle closed to 90 psi with it wide open .this oil then is sent onlt to the tv up and down valves and controls shift scheduling, shift point and kickdowns ,whether modulated or detent kickdowns. This generates other functional complaints such as firm shifts at all throttle angles etc.I am not certain if the modulated tv oil is re regulated to a usable accumulator pressure for use with a functional accumulator valve system.FOR THE RECORD,I could probably figure out how to do that in about 10 minutes by looking over a case ,valve body and seperator plate. Its nice to see new parts coming out for transmission but I think this is something not very useful, but others certainly may get use out of it.

I agree with Chris,
I don't see the need for it.
It would cause unnecessary wear on the pump and the only reason would be so you aren't as likely to kill clutches because you're too lazy to properly setup the TV cable?

The ONLY application I can see this being good in, is a forced induction setup like a roots type supercharger where you have instant torque spike on throttle. In that case, the 700 isn't the trans of choice anyway.
