I just want to verify and make sure that a 3 and a half inch terry houston downpipe will bolt up directly to a stock turbo minus the elbow.

i dont see why it wouldnt, id guess there would be some "thin" spots as the thdp is alot larger opening diameter

why the hell would you wanna put a 3.5 inch DP on a stocker? for the "other motor"?

I ran my car with one for about a year. Fit like a glove. Yes it was overkill but its what I found when I was looking for a DP and got it for a great deal. Did not have to use a gasket and clears the control arm. I would recommend new motor mounts and trans mount before you install.

Good advice on the motor mounts....would also recommend an engine torque strap.

Get HR mounts and kill 2 birds with one stone

x2 on this. Just installed my HR mounts last night and mounted up my THDP afterwards. It required a slight rocking of the passenger side mount to gain some more clearance, but what a breeze. I love the adjustability of the HR mount. And they are rock solid. Prior to the change I could rock the motor by hand with the replacement stock mounts. No more!
