Ya know, I got really excited when I saw the thread title, but got really sad when I saw it was a joke. I wish states would start succeding from the Union.

Texas tried to divert our water about 2 decades ago...but you are not alone in that respect.....Indiana farmers are trying to lay claim to it now......not going to happen guys!

I get a little peeved at the way some states use their water resources and think they have rights to our basin! Texas isn't one of the biggest problems.....places like Vegas are really the ones that need to get a clue.

lol....I know we have our own oil, but I seriously doubt it would be sufficient to "feed" our needs.....however, I'm pretty sure I could live quite a long time without the use of oil...unless Texans' came up with a way to "drink" oil???
