So my 400 decided it doesn't like like itself and took out all the case lugs :-( . So I bought another case aswell as CKperformance case saver and endless snap ring . Is there anything else I should do to the case ? I have cleaned all the extra slag off and have painted it .

There are a few things I do to every case.
1 - I would inspect the rear band anchors and knock them out. Most are a hair in to far. They shouldn't stick in the case any further than the inner surface. Any more and at risk to the band dragging.
2 - I stone every case on the valve body surface. I found that not all necessary need it but a lot of them are really bad. The machining is just to rough to work in a constact high pressure environment with no gaskets.
3 - While you at it I would sand the low/reverse servo cover on a surface plate to make the stamped surface flat. I like using the servo spacer.
4 - If you have an exernal solenoid for the transbrake, I always check the position of the trans brake valve(Formally modulator valve) in both positions. Sometimes adjustments need to be made.
5 - Along with the above, it is good practice to make sure you machine the casting dam in the case. CK has some instruction on that.
6 - Always check the separator plate to case to make sure the holes intersect properly. Again sometime adjustments need to be made.
