TH400 up shift?

How do I make 1-2 shift later in a 400 @ WOT? I bought a B&M gov kit, but can't seem to get the 1-2 shift right. Thanx

if all is ok in the trans i have a drop in governor that will do it.cost is $75.00

By the way this is not in my GN it's in my pick up. Trans is new. Playing with weights I can make high gear shift late, but 1-2 still too early! Should I grind on outer weights?

no if one is early and the other is late it is a slipping friction or a valve body problem

What should I look for in the VB? Trans shifts firm & on time part throttle?
