Hey Brian, You cheap SOB. You must be making a bundle on those parts after you put out 1000's for them, inventory them, stock them, advertise them, package and ship them and THEN !! listen to an ******* like this guy. You know I'm just the little guy up here that has been tossed more SH-T about the price of my NOS parts but I'm just in this as a hobby and the love for the Turbo Buicks, but I'm still NOT giving my NOS stuff away and Iv'e had my share. I have NOTHING but praise for you to step up and develope and keep developing parts for a VERY SMALL !! market. Also wish you all the LUCK in the world with your new move. Keep up the GOOD work as almost all of us appreciate what and how you do things. Remember our big right side marker light venture? Hee-Hee.

yup, I gotta post up positive comments for Brian also. done plenty of business with him - excellent parts and service. without a doubt one of the top vendors for our cars and probably all G-bodies. I'm glad a stand up guy like Brian Weavy takes the time, effort and capital risk to round up NOS parts and make them available to the turbo Buick community.

the original post in this thread is just an example of how you just can't make everyone happy - no matter how good a job you do. It's also an example of why some other top-notch vendors like Dennis Kirban and Red Armstrong (just to name two) don't bother participating on these boards. There's always some wanker who has to piss-and moan no matter how good he's got it.

brian and holly are very nice people to deal with,i will keep dealig with them ,no matter what others have to say.keep up the good work brian and kathy!!!

Heres what Brian did for me : Sold me a rust free car body for cheap. When i had it media blasted i found some rust on the floor pans. He then cut up a perfect floor and shipped it for FREE.

I bought GNX moldings, 2 fenders , bolts nuts, ect for WAYYY too cheap and told me to pay him when i had the money. I payed here and there but I still owe him around 700.00 and he has never bad mouthed me, never called harrassing me because he is all about the g-body cult that we have. I bet his profit margin is around the 5-10 % range. Not a heck of a lot.

Where was your post like this for the last 15 years as Kirban has been doing this for years and years. If he was 10% as concerned about GN's as Brian is , he wouldnt have a huge free catalog like he does. Think about it.

There have been many guys that have come and go trying this g body salvage thing and Brian has been here because he is 100 stand up to deal with and he is very reasonable as far as prices go.

Maybee you should go buy a vette and leave the Buick community.

Great Vendor and Awesome Guy (and Wife-Kasci)

I think GBody's reputation of awesome customer service and customer satisfaction stands clear to all that have even only spoke to him !
The bottom line is- If you cannot afford the hobby or pay the price for Antiques and their upkeep- It's time to sell !
Don't try to ruin someones reputation because you don't like what they offer.
Maybe you can start a GBody parts store and sell at cost? Let us know when you plan to open......

I justed wanted to say....
two thumbs up for Brian! A great vendor to deal with, with GREAT PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT!!!! keep putting out superior parts and having great customer service and i will continue to spend my hard earned money with you..... - Some people dont understand how hard it is to run your own business....:frown: and how much time and money it actually takes for R&D work and tooling and startup costs before you actually turn a profit.....

Brian, I know its been a while but I will get that damn exhaust manifold to you!!sorry about that!

I bought a set of black window felts for my 86gn last summer from Biran and he had the best price I could find. they were in the gm boxes and clearly labeled do not bend. when they got here they were bent at a 45 degree angle. I was sick ,all I did was call his wife and I had a new set 2 days latter , even before I sent mine back. Who ate the cost for that? I hope Brian didn't but I bet he did. Brian Is a one person that we all should be thankfull we have him, and his wife.

All of my dealings with Brian have been perfect. He knows these cars inside and out and gives good advice too. Kudos to him for his hard work. We need more like him.

Just wanted to say thanks for the great service you do for the Turbo Buick community. Last year, you bought up all of the GN blackout headlamp bezels causing the price to DOUBLE overnight by eliminating the availability to all the other GM parts suppliers. You claimed that you did it to save them for the Turbo Buick Community, but all that you accomplished was to make the price skyrocket right into your pocket. Now, by performing another one of your monopolistic buyouts of GM parts, you have raised the cost of belt tensioners from $85 (GMPartsdirect price) to $130 (GBodyparts price) within a 1 month period. Nice way to give back (the shaft) to the Turbo Buick community.
What's also really amazing is that you openly boast about it right on the boards. It's just like having your wife's rapist tell you how good it felt. You must really get stimulated by pulling the wool over so many eyes. Hope others can see through your tactics. Looking forward to see how you can "give it" to the Turbo Buick Community next!

I purchased a Thunderfab factory mount Intercooler from Bryan@GBodyParts about a year or so ago. I don't really recall what the price was, but it was quite a savings from buying through Thunderfab direct, or anybody else that stocked them for that matter. When he realized that the intercooler had been inadvertently shipped without the mounting bracket, he sent me an E-mail immediately and had the bracket in the mail at his own expense and I got the bracket in the mail a couple of days later, before the IC arrived. Bryan has saved many a turbo bricks life. and many an owner's, too. Bryan's quality, service, and integrity are second to none. Welcome to the forum, and hopefully you will think before typing next time.

While I have never purchased anything from Brian, all I have ever heard are good things. Hard to find much by way of TR vendors anymore. We need them all here to support us and these pains-in-the-arse we call our beloved turbo bricks.

If you want to stay on the board and learn thing or two about these cars then welcome to site.

If you want to whine about a business making a profit go back to whatever communitst country you came from.

BTW, Brian what is the ETA on the T-Center caps? Do you have a price ramge in mind?

Also, do you have or can you tell me who might have, the round logo "cap" that goes on the stock T centers? One of mine fell off.

Wheel Cap Overlays

Hoping to have the caps in about 3 weeks ready to go if not sooner. We are trying to order 100 so the costs will be worth while doing for the Ray & Mark to make these. GM listed them at $78.00 each we plan on trying to do this at $60.00 each or $225 a set if possible. They should be better then factory & not flying off everytime you take a corner.

I'm not going to jump on the "Let's kiss Brian's butt" bandwagon or anything but business is business, if we dont support our vendors, they will no longer be able to suppport us. Brian does a HELL of a lot for me and many others, lets not bash him on here. Call him up and I'm sure he'll make you a good deal on a tensioner.

I think Brian came up with this thread just to generate some publicity for himself.:D  :D  :D

Wish someone would post some bad feedback for me.

His feet stink too.

Brian at Gbodyparts Rocks! Thanks for all you do, Dude! Also, he seems to work a lot of odd hours to support you, answers pms and emails, and seems like he never stops.

That's fine if someone wants to complain about a 135 dollar tensioner, so be it. Just because he comes up and says he's got the part doesn't mean you have to buy it. If you can't afford it new then get a used one from him (at least you'll know its good). By the way, he's the only one that stepped up with a bracket for me that no one else did. Just gotta go to my Dad's for the paypal, it will come sometime Brian! Oh and if it wasn't for our venders and their "OVERPRICED ITEMS", nobody on this board would sell me their leftover crap they don't want anymore and I wouldn't have tail lights with chips in them I got for free.

when I posted previously, I forgot to mention what Brian is working on for me right now. I contacted him a few weeks ago looking for a dump pipe to fit what I *thought* was an old ATR downpipe. He sent me a dump pipe that should have fit, but didn't. Brian could have just told me, "Sorry you're out of luck." and *could have* tried to sell me one of his new downpipes, but he didn't. Instead, he asked me what length I needed and is working up a custom dump pipe to fit my downpipe based on the dimensions I gave him. If you ask me, that's above and beyond just running a business.

Rob
