For those that may not know Dave Fiscus brought his TSO GN all the way down from Ohio to run the Radial tire class at Orlando (Tony Gomes was also down here helping Dave with the car)... Dave was fighting some problems all weekend, but still managed to run a 9.14 on the M/T 325/50/15 radials with a 1.41 60' during qualifying... Not bad considering this was his first time running the car on the radials!!! Unfortunately Dave was not able to make the bump in Radial tire, but I'd have to say from sitting in the stands that there were more than a few people that were impressed to see a little 274inch V6 out there up against these big inch/big poweradder V8 monsters... He was the only 6 cylinder car there to my knowledge and also probably one of the heavier cars in the class (it is all steel except for the bumpers) weighing in at 3475lbs!

Anyways if you're reading this it was very nice meeting and BSing with you Dave, and I have no doubts in my mind that you will get that 8 sec pass on the radials!!!

Awesome. Got any video? :)

Congratulations Dave, the car looked awsome. I checked out the pictures on the website, nice wheels up launch!!! You deserve a good weekend, I know how hard you have worked to get there.

Congrats Dave.........way to represent us V6 guys!!!!

Best wishes.

Once Dave gets the bugs out it should run like hell.
That is sure a nice car!!!

Low 9s on DRs Great Job!

Daves car was very impressive to watch during qualifying. He raced against a 78-80 Malibu , dave spun but once he hooked he was running down the malibu. The crowd was to their feet rooting for the GN! The GN was awesome to watch making passes against the fords and chevies.

Also would like to thank Dave for lending me some tools for our small problem we had with our Tahoe Limited. And Holly Hartline for helping me find them. :)

Just think a GN running Low 9s on drag radials. Knocking on the 8s!!!!

8.64 was the cut off this year.
I think he had a good chance if he could have turned it up!

Congrats Dave. I've known Dave since his Mississippi days. Always a nice guy, rarely mad and even if he is you probably can't tell. It wouldn't be Dave if he didn't have to turn a wrench on his car while racing  ! See ya next month.

Dave is a class act :)

I am lucky to able to see his car and talk to him every once and awhile at my local track.
