That was too easy

I just installed an extra 256 mb of ram on my computer. Literally plug and play. So easy that I'm scared now! Christ, it didn't even require tools. I'm lucky I can even spell computer, much less work on one. Please tell me its supposed to be this easy!

Ahhhhh....that explains everything. The universe is still in balance because I had an easy job go totally wrong yesterday and destroy one of my dad's PCs. Tried to install a "plug-n-play" wireless USB Ethernet adapter. One thing led to another and now the machine has no working operating system.

Installing ram is easy on new machines - no messing with the BIOS or anything. As long as you got the right kind - and it sounds like you did - the machine should recognize it at start up and you're good to go.
