I really like the look of the New Corvette but a lot of the aftermarket exhaust systems don't sound quite right to me. Instead of the traditional V8 sound they seem to sound a little like a European sports car.

It's hard to overlook the power the LS engines are making. I watched it again and just noticed the 1.403 60'.

I think that's the stock exhaust with the valve opened up.

In general the LS motors sound different because GM changed the firing order. It's not the same as a SBC.

I rented one in Vegas and loved it. I was surprised how much attention it got for being a Vette.

To me it looks like Ferrari helped GM with the looks of the new Vette....it looks very Ferrariesque. The magnetic shocks used by Ferrari are made by Delphi which is owned by GM. I believe the ZR1 uses Ferrari brakes.

It favors Ferrari styling too me as well.

I bet with a few mods to a stock one you could make many "trouble free" 10 second passes.

It's technically not a LS motor anymore. This is designated the LT1. It has direct port injection, VVT, and DOD. It is 6.2L, but is a different bore and stroke than the LS3.

I didn't realize that there had been so many changes to the engine as well. I see a few of these cars on CL in the 60k range.

IDK if this is the same car but it went 9.39 @155 with twin turbos.
