So, after still more repairs and upgrades on the demon seed we take off this morning for Wilmington to bring an intake down to someone and spend some time with our toes in the sand: the thing just completely shuts down on a stretch of I-40 where the speed limits are just suggestions and I consider myself blessed that we weren't run over trying to get off the highway. This is the second time this thing has tried to kill me.

2007: 4 wheel studs shear off and #5 was hanging by a thread en route to Auto Fair

2008: barn roof falls on it just before BPG

2009: electrical gremlins (also just in time for BPG!)

At what point do the words "insurance fire" come into play?

I know a guy that knows a guy that knows a guy who can do a reasonably priced exorcisim on that black heathen (no racisim intended).... :D Hope your luck gets better.

black and grey heathen to be technical.....at my wits end with this one. filling the radiator with holy water certainly didn't help either...next step is going to be a cigar and drink of rum for JoBu.

kevin do ya need a hand :)

Did it act like it was running out of fuel? you know it may have a crap walbro getting hot causing that. any check engine lights?

you are assuming that I actually care about fixing the dam thing

Never heard back from you. Did you get it running? What happened to it? Trade you a nice GS for it!

Tried calling you back later in the day but kept getting your fax machine. Knew somebody that was a little closer to home and they hauled it back to my house. (nothing personal-just couldn't see waiting for an hour or more on I-40-not a comfortable feeling) So anyway: found the "ecm/sol" fuse blown, and sure enough the plug for the oil pressure switch wasn't taped up when the auto meters were installed, However I am stil "sol" as I have dome lights and the key warning, and that is it. Can't even put the damn windows up! Going to test the battery at work tomorrow however have a sneaking suspicion that won't be the problem.

kevin check the ccci fuse and then check the fuseable links by the starter.
