Phone co's

Around here if someone hacks a phone line with a back hoe or a shovel, the phone company charges upwards of $40-50,000 per hour, until service is restored. My boss had that happen near his house, someone was building a foudation and cut a fiber optic line, 'bout 5 minutes later 3 phone company trucks rolled up. And fiber optic lines take forever to fix, would have hurt to get that bill. Must be different out in CA. -Chuck
