I was busy chastising my mom for not taking me to his last concert with her And she was in shock ! As with trillions of others-she was IN LOVE ! That is ALL we ever listened to! 24 hours up to Ohio and back every summer! But I was in love too!!!:biggrin:

I still have 2 of his original albums- unscratched ! ALOHA from Hawaii and You'll Never Walk Alone.

I am sad that Elvis is gone, I always watch all the shows and concerts this time a year and I am amazed at how he was able to draw everyone to him the way he did. He was truly the KING

But I still like Van Halen better

Believe it or not..though distant...I am related to Elvis.

My dads Grandmother and Elvis's mom are the same family and its like 6 or seven steps or whatever geneology from him to me.

Always liked his music and used to wear out his records as a kid. Speaking of that I gotta break out his greatest hits CD and blare a few tunes.
