I will have one tomorrow for those interested,Will post the pics here as i cant in the other forum
Cal Hartline came through like always
Thanks Cal and the guys at F.A.ST

Well the new boxes all come the same way now, They are all sequential with individual cylinder control,But can be run B2B,It has the ability to be run on different igntions now without sending it back. You can run up to and including a 5 bar map sensor (for us guys that never run more than 30#s of boost;) )
All the fuel and timing maps offer variable scaling, which will give you the abilty to fine tune way closer than the old box(Basically you set up the maps to the rpm and kpa you want in any increment)
It now controls torque convertor lockup,Has A/C idle up feature. Will now be connected to your vehicle speed sensor,It has 4 auxilary outputs that work off of TPS and RPM.
It has a built in boost control,10 analog inputs for such things as fuel and oil pressure,EGT, ETC...
4 stages of power adder(nitrous)control
You will now have a close loop gain table to fine tune the abilty to correct at a certain rpm and boost, and even has an EGR control

The XFI is way more daily driver friendly, but has way more control for the faster cars also

Im sure there is more but thats just off the top of my head

Get in touch with Cal if your interested. Hes the one that pulled the strings to get it to me this soon as they are not released to the public yet.and no pricing has been set at this point

How much more expensive is it than the FAST boxes before it?
I am getting ready to make the leap, and need to decide if I should wait for the availability of this system (depending how much more expensive) or if I should go with what is out there now.

Stu pricing hasnt been released yet,But soon im told.
Your best bet is to call Cal,He may have more info on it.

Otto we know you tune your own ride, let us now when installed the highlights.

Just try not to blow anything up:D

How would you stack this up compared to gen7...

Never used a Gen 7,played with the software(free on their website)So im not quite sure, I know Cal tunes Gen 7s also, so maybe he can shed some light there.

I dont think that price will include a harness, jumper or stand alone.
I may be making jumper harnesses for the Buicks
It being discussed at this time

Otto,
Glad to see your florida connection came thru for you. Because we all know it sucks when you have to wait for parts by the way hows your fuel pump working. Let us know how th xfi works for you hey Otto does the xfi work with a 3 bar sensor. Because you know some people that will be running it soon never go over 26.5 in 1st 25.3 in 2nd and 24.8 in 3rd. So there would be no point in running a 5 bar

Hey Tony. Cal came through as always,Ive never had to wait more than i was told when buying from him,Even this came when promised. My fuel pump worked out great,I purchased it from Erik Rankin,Had it at his shop.
And the XFI will run a 1,2,3,4,or 5 bar.
For those guys that have yet to push their car,I for one went with the 5 bar as i plan on running as much boost as possible and will have logging proof above 30.2#s. I am begining to believe there are map sensors that are not properly calibrated and will not show more than 26.5# even when reaching levels in excess of 30#s
How you coming along?

How did you rate a Saturday delivery?

Mine is on the way but is not scheduled to be here until next week.:)

Also, for those guys that are still deciding if they should go with a FAST system, there will be some great deals on the exsisting units while they last. Just sold a complete new unit with harness and WBO2 at a price too low to publish!:D

It's probably not the sensor, but rather the code.

I've obtained exclusive video of the XFI box in action from an inside source, looked pretty good too.

Gee thanks for sharing with us working class Buick folk with no connections........Selfish.......:( j/k

That's okay Otto shares:D

Yes he does share everything, that's what makes Otto so cool, hopefully he'll share his pics of the XFI and his new rims on the other board too for the betterment of the Buick community:D

Precision Turbo & Engine will also be offering the new Fast XFI System.

We currently have received a few systems and are developing the adapator harnesses for the GN/TR applications. Of course stand alone harnesses are already available for use.

As of yet the official pricing has not been released, but I'm sure it will be competitive with the others on the market.

The Buick GN/TR community and others will have a great choice between the new Fast XFI and BigStuff Gen3 Systems that PTE will be distributing. Product support of either system will be provided by our staff.

"Product support of either system will be provided by our staff".
I am sorry Joe, dont mean to piss anyone off but I was not happy at all with the product support when I received my BS3. PTE should state that they come with a start up disk and thats it. I had a problem with my BS3 and got very little help from you. Matter of fact you told me "dont worry, jsut drive it" even though it was pulling -22.7 fuel out of the table and running like a pig. I called several times and no one at pte knew anything about the BS3 (they told me you were the man) so I had to leave several messages to you. You did call me back once. It was to the point I had to drive to Bill Andersons Shop (4.5 hours) to fix this problem. And amazingly it started up again so I am going to Bill again when the weather allows me to. I dont mean to be rude or anything but I wish I bought from a more supportive vendor. I tried my best to lower the numbers, I played with it for days but I feel something is wrong.

thanks
Ralph
