Sending you a PM,
I am not far from you and have cash ready.

Ok thanks gotgrunt
has anyone looked at this car or know of it?

I spoke to the guy selling it; he's selling it on behalf of the owner. The car has a lot of wear for the listed mileage, but a carfax did confirm it so idk.... looks like a good deal regardless.

Ad says "true-driver".... I'd expect to see dirty undercarraige, etc. What do you mean by a "lot of wear" for the mileage?

Paint chipping off the intercooler tank neck, rips in the drivers seat, dirty undercarriage, etc. You don't typically see that stuff on low mileage collector cars. BTW, I wouldn't really call 54k a true driver car. Anyways, I'm not contesting the mileage, just making observations.

im not to concerned on interior its just
engine comp looks alittle rough from what i see seems lke a lot of rust for that mileage. i think the car is a few hours away. for the right price i guess wonder whats bottom line. thanks gotgrunt and h18

I'm interested, not concerned with the paint on the intercooler, will get new one for it from RJC. I'm in bowling green ky. What sort of deal can we work out. I left my email addy earlier in the thread. I have a 99 black mustang gt with leather and would be a quick car with a gear put in. Would you be interested in trade, had the car since it was born. Let me know? Or bottom dollar on the hairdryer?
Thanks

I would think any car driven on the road (for 54K miles) would indeed have a dirty undercarraige. (Nothing a weekend with apressure washer couldnt deal with...

Driver's seat torn would tell me the material is fragile and the car not stored indoors... These cars ARE 23 years old now and from my experience the fabric does not hold up well to sunlight.

I've seen lower mile cars with paint missing off the intercooler, and I have seen lower mile cars in lesser condition.

I think people need to remember that "low mile" doesnt mean mint condition.

Clearly, the car is priced right, even in this market..

Definitely... just needs some tlc and a set of bumper fillers.

Most of them do.... about 11 years ago I bought a 60K, garage kept N/A 86 Regal (was going to clone it as I had a spare drivetrain). The car was perfect, I drove it for a month as a DD, and the fillers literally started flaking apart on the freeway... by the time I got it home there was little left of the fillers.
