You guys are soooo lucky. Here in CT the only place to race is at a podunk circle track for 100 ft. We need the Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods casinos to back a track on their property as I don't ever see a strip happening outside Native American owned land in CT.:frown:

Thats for sure about CT. Glad i am in NH.

Someone mentioned a NHRA track at the NHIS Speedway, The new owners have the deep pockets to do it. But that is even further than NED.

Boy maybe I should move to NC.

Just bought my tickets for the Sept. NHRA event. 1-adult & 1-child 4-day pass!! :biggrin: Hope my daughter will like drag racing NHRA style...

New pics of the track to come this weekend. A little birdie tells me they have three of the concrete walls for the tower poured. I'm going to try and sneak in the gate this time. I guess I'll have to drag the Cummins out of the garage to "look" like a construction worker...

I live roughly 10 mins from Lowes Motor Speedway and didn't even know they had already started construction till my neighbor said something about it the other day.

Can't wait till it's done.

Yeah, I thought they were still fighting over the permit. It sounded like Burton Smith was going to "take his ball and go home", when he threatened to move the speedway.
